Bayrisch Creme

a Fraktur script font

Our brief was to design a font from letters A to Z upper- or lowercase related to any kind of food you could bring to a BBQ-party. I decided to go for dessert and chose the popular German "Bayrisch Creme". It is a very creamy dessert with vanilla and a bit raspberry sauce on top. The creamy aspect is the script part of the font. I added the edges into it to show off the edges of the Bavarians itself (there is also a lot of history with Fraktur typefaces) and the sour twist with the raspberries. Designing my own typeface catched me and I made the whole font with a lot of characters. I plan on doing different weights and italics as well.
